Colonial Downs wraps up season

Colonial Downs wrapped up their summer Thoroughbred Summer meet last night but a real frog choker of a thunder storm forced this track known for their fine turf races to go to the dirt.

Jockey Horacio Karamanos named Leading Rider at Colonial Downs

Jockey Horacio Karamanos was named Leading Rider for the just ended 45 day meet at Colonial Downs in New Kent, Virginia. This is the 4th time he was so honored. Here is some video of him in the winners circle on the last day of the meet. Higher quality feed available on my YouTude channel.
